WHY

As we consider Jesus’s last command to the church in Matthew 28:16-20, “ …Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” We are confident that our existence on earth and the very meaning of life is to demonstrate the Good News of Jesus to the world by living out the teachings of the Bible in our communities.

Who

Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire is the 3rd largest city in Scotland, and is home to the largest population of castles and ruins in the UK. It covers the North East of Scotland with diverse landscape and beautiful coasts. It is known as the Silver City or the Granite City. It is a sister city to Houston, Texas due to the oil industry in the North East. It has stunning architecture, a diverse population, and a need for churches.

HOW

We have begun the process ,of starting an outreach in the North East that will launch this spring called Saints Surf. It will be a surf outreach that we are hoping will establish us within the community here in the North East. Through that ministry and connection our vision is to establish a community of believers, that will gather together and participate in: Fellowship, Musical Worship, Teaching, Community Groups, and Outreach. Like Paul, our desire is not to bring anything, but the truth of the Gospel to the people in the North East.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 ”All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”
